Ashley + Chris: Isla Mujeres
I can’t begin to say what a great time I had with Ashley, Chris and their families at Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Isla is a 30 minute ferry ride from Cancun and a completely different feel from the hustle and bustle of the schmancy resorts that line the coast of the Yucatan. It’s accessible, yet remote– a perfect place to invite friends and family for a marriage celebration.
Maria, of Weddings Isla Mujeres, took care of all the details and created an elegant beach wedding….magically.
Chris and Ashley were ADVENTUROUS. The morning after the big day we crossed over to the mainland and traveled two hours West to do a little swimming in cenotes. Those pictures are still in production– stay tuned! We returned to the island just in time to catch the sunset at Playa Norte and roll Ashley’s (perfectly good) dress in the surf. I’ve never seen two people have so much fun in their good clothes!

Ashley you looked absolutely beautiful. I am sad me and Nicole missed it but I am very happy for the both of you. I hope you two had a wonderful honeymoon and wish the both of you all the best on your journey through life together.
