One of my projects from a recent trip to Italy and the Czech Republic was to get to know a new camera body, the Canon EOS R. It is the long anticipated full frame mirrorless body and I was eager to see what it could do. I am not generally an early-adopter but for this one, I was ready to pre-order as soon as it was available. This is not a camera review. But I will say that I am pleased with the camera. Not blown away. But pleased.
This is the first pro grade camera body I’ve used with the multiple exposure function. With the right film body you can overlay multiple exposures on a single frame with each successive exposure. Now, this same effect can be replicated in-camera digitally.
These images are from my explorations of the cities I visited and new ways of layering images in camera. You may recognize popular tourist destinations in Rome, Florence, Venice and Prague.
