A Match Made
I photograph weddings for couples who have distinctive style and a vision of how they and their guests celebrate the big day. My clients value an unobtrusive approach to creating beautiful images of the moments and details that tell a meaningful story of two people who have found The One. The couples I work with are often passionate about art, music, travel….and venturing off the beaten path. Sound like a good match? Email or call and ask for availability and a description of coverage options.
What Happens Next?
Let’s connect. I always enjoy meeting couples in person and hearing about their dream wedding. We can meet close to you or, as is often the case, if you’re inquiring from outside the Seattle/Tacoma/Bellingham area, we can talk by phone or Skype.
Hiring Clinton
The first step in securing your wedding date is to find a package for coverage that works for you. After creating a contract based on your coverage requests, I’ll send it by mail. When you return the contract with your retainer payment, the day is reserved. If I’m not available for your wedding date, I’d be happy to suggest other excellent photographers locally or in your part of the country.
Travel
I love to travel. I’ve covered weddings in Mexico, Canada, as well as a number of states in the US. Travel fees are quoted at cost.
Next
Most couples request their engagement session 6-12 months before the wedding so they can use images from the shoot in invitations, reception decor and wedding websites.
T Minus One Month
A month before your wedding, we should connect again to go over the timeline for your wedding. I believe in blending photography into your wedding day seamlessly. During that meeting we’ll find the best way to get the images you want in a way that works with the flow of your day.
I Do (What I Do Best)
On the wedding day, Clinton and his assistant will photograph the preparations, ceremony, toasts, dancing and all the quiet moments in between. Your job—enjoy your family, friends and each other. You create the moments. I’ll capture them.
Delivering Your Images
Quality, of course, takes time. But not too much time. Most couples receive their images 3 weeks after the wedding.
Album Design
The album creation process begins when you’ve selected 70-100 of your hands-down favorite images. I’ll send a catalog of album styles and sizes. Once you’ve chosen your favorite options, I’ll create a design that tells the story of your day. After a few re-edits based on your preferences, the album is sent to the bookbinders for creation and is sent directly to you in 4 weeks.
Q&A
?—Do I get the digital files
!—Yes, all the full resolution cropped and color adjusted jpegs in all their glory. Most couples are receiving between 500-700 finished images with a 10 hour package.
?—Do you work with an assistant.
!—Yes, and she’s great. In addition to being a second photographer throughout the day and managing equipment, she knows the seven secret arts of bustling the dress, pinning boutonnieres on the guys and always carries a tissue for the mother of the bride.
?–What kind of equipment do you use.
!—Canon. With a full complement of lenses and backups for the backups. I also shoot film on vintage cameras on occasion.
?—Do you travel?
!—I love to travel. I’ve covered weddings in Mexico, Canada, California and beyond. Since Seattle/Bellingham is my home turf, I’ve also photographed many Northwest destination weddings throughout the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. The fee for travel is ‘at cost’ for transportation by plane/train/ferry/skiff/elephant as well as lodging. Email for a quote.
?—Do you do ‘Day After’ shoots.
!—For destination events, couples prefer them and I love shooting them.
?—Do you want a shot list.
!—For family members, yes. I don’t want to forget anyone. Beyond that, regimented picture lists lead to regimented pictures. Trust the process.
?–Do you do adventure elopements
!– Why yes I do. Elopements are the perfect approach for couples who want more of an un-wedding approach, but still want magazine-worthy pictures to share. Mid-week elopements start at $750.
