Sometimes a Brand New Garage Sale Hat is Reason Enough

I had the chance to travel to Akumal, Mexico, to photograph Carrie and Tom's wedding. We even got to explore ruins in their wedding finery the day after the ceremony.

I loved hearing their story-- they knew each other in high school. They were really good friends... and nothing more. Until the time was right. Then Jacob decided he knew he would marry her. And, it wasn't too difficult to convince her. Appropriately, we started their engagement session at the high school where they met.

Rikkole and I had a great shoot last night. We made it down to the railroad tracks just as the sun was setting. You can see the reflection of the sunset in the windows of all the houses on the hill in the background.
