Some unkown quality about this shoot, and the energy from this kindergarten-sized package of spunk, reminded me so much of summer. It could be because it WAS summer (finally.)
I have learned that whatever conclusion you draw about India, the opposite must also be true. I'd like to share one particular example: Bilar, India.
Erin and Johannes' wedding was very much a 'homecoming' for me. I photographed Erin's cousin Michael's wedding very soon after I decided to pursue wedding photography seriously. Their wedding generated a number of images that many prospective clients responded so positively to.
The atmosphere over the Ganges in the morning just before sunset is amazing-- it's like alpenglow that envelops you. I never saw the sun crest the horizon; it simply burned through as soon as it was high enough and strong enough to do so.
I can't begin to say what a great time I had with Ashley, Chris and their families at Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Isla is a 30 minute ferry ride from Cancun and a completely different feel from the hustle and bustle of the schmancy resorts that line the coast of the Yucatan. It's accessible, yet remote-- a perfect place to invite friends and family for a marriage celebration.

Still trying to catch up on my blogging after the fall. Michele and George were married in one of the most beautiful spots on the Riviera Maya, Mexico--Aventura Spa Palace. One of my favorites!
When I met Dani and Trenton to talk about possibly photographing their wedding, the more they described what they were looking for, the more I knew we were a match. Thanks Dani and Trenton for such a wonderful day!
