Heather and Graham had a true Northwest Destination wedding on Henry Island in the San Juans. The journey included taxis, ferries, barges and a few guests even arrived in their own boats and camped on the island overnight. The ceremony was damp from rain and from tears of happiness and the mist made for some great images.
Kaylee and Zac are a sweet, fun, golf-loving couple. They laughed all day, even on the alter. During the reception at Shuksan Golf Course we took a couple of golf carts out onto the green for some romantic sunset shots.
Emma is a genuine girl who is also confident and comfortable in front of the camera. She was involved in the creative process and also had a lot of fun on the shoot; Emma was willing to climb trellises and cross railroad tracks and rocky beaches in 4 inch heels.
The vivacious Katie was a lot of fun to work with. She is a confident, fun-loving young woman who is taking on a senior year full of AP classes, part time work and golf.
We had a great, relaxed shoot with Katie. Katie is a competitive diver who grew up near the waters of Lake Samish. We got her in her element by starting the shoot on a boat and then moved in to town for some more urban flavor.
Now is the prime time for senior photos for 2011 before school gets into full swing and schedules get hectic. Whether you’re looking for sunset beaches or touches of fall color, September is a great month for photos. Below are …
Tehani is on the threshhold of an epic senior year in Mt Vernon, taking on as many AP courses as she dares with eyes on the prize: U-Dub. I know she'll kick it.
The complete post. Portions of Taia's shoot have been released on Facebook and the full collection of highlights is finally ready for the blog. Taia was so much fun to work with-- just as down to Earth as she is beautiful. It's scary. Once again we had a great team for the shoot with Alissa on lighting and Tart Beauty providing makeup artistry.
Katie and Adam are a fun, sweet couple that didn't let a bit of rain get them down. Even though we had to take shelter from the downpour under the sky bridge on Western's campus, their positive and adventurous attitudes made for some great pictures. Katie and Adam even got to enjoy a dry ceremony and a beautiful sunset!
Another fun and exciting senior session. It's appropriate that Katrina came all the way from Wyoming to experience a bit of rain for the first part of her session-- a few raindrop streaks are visible in this first shot. She was undaunted, however, and the clouds held back long enough for a beautiful sunset on the beach.
We had a great time with Kate and Alan up at Semiahmoo. The waterfront ceremony (complete with bagpiper) was gorgeous. We were also convinced that a pair of eight year old guests were soul mates and would be getting married themselves until we discovered they were cousins. One romantic meeting of souls per weekend is plenty.
From the Hairstream beauty trailer to the Chrysalis overlooking the bay, Toby and Dan had a fun and unique wedding.
