Now is the prime time for senior photos for 2011 before school gets into full swing and schedules get hectic. Whether you’re looking for sunset beaches or touches of fall color, September is a great month for photos. Below are …
Erica and Robert held their ceremony at the Alderbrook Spa on the Hood Canal. As one waiter told us, "Don't even try, you'll never run out of things to take pictures of here". The bride was as gorgeous as the location and the weather was fabulous.
Katie and Adam are a fun, sweet couple that didn't let a bit of rain get them down. Even though we had to take shelter from the downpour under the sky bridge on Western's campus, their positive and adventurous attitudes made for some great pictures. Katie and Adam even got to enjoy a dry ceremony and a beautiful sunset!
Mignonne and John were married in Kelowna, BC. The girls got ready in a beautiful lakeside house and the ceremony was held at the Harvest Golf Club. The sunset was breath-taking and we had a blast taking the couple out in a cart for some solo shots (and luckily avoided the sprinklers).
We had a great time with Kate and Alan up at Semiahmoo. The waterfront ceremony (complete with bagpiper) was gorgeous. We were also convinced that a pair of eight year old guests were soul mates and would be getting married themselves until we discovered they were cousins. One romantic meeting of souls per weekend is plenty.
Maria's Senior Portrait session
I loved hearing their story-- they knew each other in high school. They were really good friends... and nothing more. Until the time was right. Then Jacob decided he knew he would marry her. And, it wasn't too difficult to convince her.
Appropriately, we started their engagement session at the high school where they met.
Rikkole and I had a great shoot last night. We made it down to the railroad tracks just as the sun was setting. You can see the reflection of the sunset in the windows of all the houses on the hill in the background.
I was so excited to hear from Lindsey and to hear she was engaged! I met Lindsey and her family met when I photographed her sister Ashley's wedding in Isla Mujeres. Her family was so much fun and so wonderfully welcoming. I really enjoyed getting to know them in Mexico and was excited to reconnect in Pasadena.
